Artist of Spiritual Imagery
Valeria Karaban is a contemporary artist, born in Minsk, Belarus. She currently lives and creates in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Art has been a part of Valeria’s life since early childhood — she drew wherever she could: on paper, in school notebooks, on walls, even on her own skin. Her imagination had no limits. By the time she was in primary school, she was already representing her class and school at art competitions and exhibitions, often winning awards. Her drawings were displayed in school halls, praised by teachers, and recognized as a vivid form of expression. From those early years, art became her voice — her most natural and profound way to connect with the world.
After graduating from art school in Minsk, Valeria continued to develop as a self-taught artist, exploring intuition, symbolism, and inner vision. Her creative path is a journey inward. She paints under the inspiration of spiritual imagery — lions and eagles, which for her symbolize inner strength, light, awakening, and transformation. Each image comes to her like a revelation, carrying a message for both the artist and the viewer.
Valeria's paintings are born through improvisation and inner movement. She works with acrylics, oils, and glow-in-the-dark neon paints.
Many of her works contain hidden texts and symbols that only become visible under ultraviolet light — secret messages revealed to those willing to “turn on the light within”.
Her artworks are often accompanied by powerful quotes, adding emotional resonance and deeper meaning to each image.
In addition to her canvas works, Valeria creates unique hand-painted T-shirts and shirts — wearable art pieces that feel alive. She intuitively paints vibrant lions and eagles onto fabric, enhancing them with splashes of color, light accents, and dynamic brushstrokes that evoke movement, flight, and awakening.
Each piece is one of a kind — a bold visual statement filled with energy and symbolism. These are garments for those who feel deeply and aren’t afraid to be seen.
Valeria painted her first intuitive lion in her teenage years — a piece that would later become a symbol of her artistic journey. In Belarus, she took part in numerous art competitions and exhibitions, earning recognition and awards for her expressive work.
In the United States, she has collaborated with spiritual leaders, speakers, and creatives, exploring themes of art, consciousness, and inner transformation.
Today, Valeria actively shares her work online — through Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms — creating a space where art becomes a bridge between inspiration, depth, and presence.
Currently, Valeria is working on several new series where she blends her signature style with neon, sacred symbolism, and poetic text. She is also expanding her work with hand-painted clothing collections, turning fashion into living art.
Soon, she plans to host her first major solo exhibition, dedicated to the origins — the very first paintings that marked the beginning of her artistic and spiritual journey.
